Host Events Tenants are Eager to Join and Happy to Pay for.

Events bring people together. Whether it's tenants eating together at a shared breakfast or retailers learning strategies from each other by attending a seasonal campaign session, they help build stronger communities. They help support ESG goals, improve retention, and signal that a building is active and well-managed. Paid events let you take these moments one step further by encouraging real commitment from your tenants and giving you more room to create an experience they'll value.

It is now possible to host paid events directly in Chainels. With Stripe available in the platform, you can manage the full process from event discovery to registration and payment. This reduces your administrative workload by handling everything within Stripe.

Why Offer Paid Events

Across industries, paid events consistently lead to higher attendance. In this era of living and working, where tenants expect more from their building, paid events help meet those expectations by creating a sense of commitment. When a tenant pays to attend, they are more likely to show up. Paid events also create new revenue opportunities by turning high-value experiences into something you can monetise.

How to Set Up and Start Offering Paid Events in Chainels

2. Set up your tax and branding preferences
Inside Stripe, you can configure automated tax calculations, upload your logo, set your brand colors, and add support info like refund policies. This gives your checkout page a branded and compliant experience.

3. Create your event in Chainels
When creating an event, select “Paid” as your event type, set your price (minimum €2), and publish. Stripe Checkout will automatically handle the payment flow, including VAT and receipts.

4. Manage registrations from the web
Track sign-ups, cancel registrations if needed, and process refunds via Stripe. All activity is logged for auditing and follow-up.

Note: Tenants cannot cancel their own paid event registrations. They'll need to reach out to the organiser or manager for support. A refund needs to be managed in Stripe.
