How the AI Content Assistant Works
There are two ways to use it. If you're starting from scratch, click the AI icon in the message toolbar, describe what you need in plain language, and the assistant generates a complete draft. "Write an invite for a summer BBQ on the rooftop - free entry, starts at 4pm" becomes a warm, properly structured message for your event in seconds.
If you've already started writing, a Refine button appears with three options. Shorten condenses a draft that's grown too long. Elaborate fleshes out a rough note into something complete. Rewrite with prompt lets you give a specific instruction - "make it less formal", "add a note dietary requirements" - and the assistant rewrites accordingly.
The assistant does not publish automatically. Your community manager reviews the draft, makes any adjustments, and clicks Insert. Nothing goes out without a person reading it first.
Where AI Tenant Communication Makes the Biggest Difference
In residential buildings with multiple languages, the assistant can help speed up translation and keep phrasing consistent, without switching between tools.
For centre managers of retail assets, the benefit is often more about writing clarity under time pressure. Quick prompts can turn a few bullet points (e.g., a car park closure or delivery access change) into a clear, structured update.
Across both cases, the goal is the same: less time spent rewriting and second-guessing tone, and more time spent on deciding what to communicate.

Through the AI Rules settings, community managers can define how the assistant should write - the level of formality, specific phrases to use or avoid, how to address tenants. Once those rules are set, every AI-assisted message reflects them, regardless of who on the team is writing.

How to Enable AI-Assisted Tenant Communication in Chainels
The Content Assistant is available in TenantOS for web. To enable it for your community, reach out to your account manager. AI Rules can be configured under Management → AI Rules in your community dashboard.
