1. Smarter Navigation and Search

Find Anything in Your Community with Universal Search
With Universal Search, you can quickly locate everything and any type of content across your community.

Switch Environments Faster When Managing Multiple Communities
If you manage multiple communities, switching between them is now much smoother. The environment switcher is now a dropdown instead of a pop-up. When you open a link to something in another community, Chainels will automatically switch you over if there’s only one possible match. If you have access to several communities, you’ll be asked to choose the right one.

2. Better Events and Booking Experience

Offer Paid Events Directly in Chainels
You can now directly charge for events in Chainels. Tenants can discover, register, and pay in one flow using Stripe, which is fully integrated into the platform.

Reduce No-Shows with Automatic Calendar Invites
Users now receive a formatted calendar invite automatically after signing up for an event or making a booking. The invite is added directly to their calendar from their inbox. This makes it easier for tenants to remember, manage, and attend.

Set Limits on How Far in Advance Bookings can be Made
Until now, tenants could make bookings as far in advance as they liked, which sometimes led to unfair use of shared spaces like meeting rooms or parking. To help prevent this, community managers are able to set a limit on how far ahead bookings can be made for each bookable item. This gives you more control over how shared spaces are used and helps ensure fair access for everyone in your community.

3. Easier Community Management

Keep Communication Relevant with Groups that Update Automatically
Reach the right people by organising your groups based on roles, interests, or other custom attributes. As more people join your community, they are automatically added to the right groups based on the rules you’ve set. Whether you're sending a message, assigning a form, or choosing who can view specific content, the right people are always included.

This makes it easier to tailor communication across your entire community. A service provider can message only residents of Tower B on floor 12 when maintenance is scheduled in that section. A community manager might group pet owners to send reminders about building rules for pet owners. When a new tenant with a pet moves in, they are added to the group automatically and receive the message right away.

Dynamic Groups

Tailor Turnover Communication with Customised Reminders in Emails

On the web platform, customise each reminder email sent during a turnover reporting period. Whether it’s the first reminder or a follow-up, each message can be written differently to better guide tenants through the reporting process.

Simplify Collaboration on Maintenance Issues Reported in your Community

Share specific issue URLs with other community managers in the web platform. This makes it easier to collaborate on reported issues, whether you are asking for a second opinion, handing something off to another team member, or following up on a task. Just copy the link and send it in a message. The issue opens directly and is ready to be reviewed.

Skip Repeated Policy Approvals when Editing Forms

Previously, community managers had to re-accept policies every time they edited a submitted form, making simple updates more time-consuming than necessary. Now, on Web, policies only need to be accepted once during the initial submission. This update makes form management faster and more efficient.

4. Smoother App and UI Improvements

Protect Shared Files with In-App Viewing
In order to improve safety efforts, the file viewer has been updated in the mobile app to offer a more secure and native file-opening experience. Files now open directly within the app, giving users a smoother and safer way to view shared content.

Enhance User Profile Editing with a Smoother Design

The page where user profiles are edited has been updated to feel simpler to use, and more polished. We also removed the social media fields, since they were not being used and didn’t really fit how people use the platform today.
